Hucks Golf ("we", "us") runs the Hucks Golf website at gehucks.com and the Hucks Golf mobile app, used by private golf groups to organize weekly games, keep score and track results. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account info: your name and email address from Google or Apple sign-in, and your GHIN number if you provide it.
- Golf data: game sign-ups, pairings, tees, scores, handicaps, Hucks Index and game results.
- Microphone and voice: if you talk to the AI Cart Girls, your voice is sent to be transcribed and answered. We do not keep audio recordings.
- Photos: scorecard photos you upload are used to read scores.
- Device info: a push notification token so we can send tee time reminders, pairings and group notices.
How we use it
- To run your group's games: sign-ups, pairings, scoring, handicaps and results.
- To send notifications and emails you'd expect, such as tee times, pairings and weather alerts.
- To provide AI features (scorecard reading, Cart Girl assistant) through trusted AI service providers.
Sharing
Your name, scores and results are visible to members of your golf group. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising. We share data only with service providers that host the app, deliver notifications and emails, and power AI features, and only as needed to run the service, or when required by law.
Tracking
We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while you are a member of a group. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time by emailing shanmcwills@gmail.com. Finalized game results may be kept in anonymized form for group records.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted so each player sees only what their group permits.
Children
Hucks Golf is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
